WHISKY PARCELLAIRE

Notes

B16D24 TRIANGLE is a single-plot whisky from a single plot of barley from the Vulson climate, harvested in 2016. Aged for 8 years in a single cask, a former Vin Jaune cask, it was then divided into two batches, to offer an experience of the influence of the alcoholic strength on the nature of a whisky, 2 expressions with unique characters and their own flavors.

B16D24 CARRÉ has undergone a gradual reduction in its alcoholic strength by adding water to reach 44% vol. At this strength, B16D24 CARRÉ offers balance and tasty comfort.

B16D24 TRIANGLE is a cask strength! It was bottled at its natural degree of aging, 52.3%, where time has led it: a massive, generous, opulent whisky, with a good-natured side and a mellowness full of indulgence.

Tasting tips

To be enjoyed with lovers of atypical wines and taking your time to enjoy its complexity. A whisky furiously marked by its cask and which allows you to make the same associations as with a Vin Jaune. As a dessert, this Single Cask will work wonders on creamy and/or almond-based recipes.

Bright, dazzling gold. What if the real El Dorado was finally in Franche-Comté?

Nose

The nose clearly announces the power to come in the mouth. As is often the case, our Epistemes are distinguished by their fluctuating dimension. Indeed, the nose is constantly evolving over time. Barrels, flowers, damp wood, bitter almonds, raisins… the thing is intense and imposing!

Mouth

The texture is of a creamy and enchanting fat. The palate is immediately coated and irradiated by this whisky. Then earthy and slightly smoky sensations burst into the mouth, giving way to an oleaginous and pastry madness.

Final

The finish is a communion. The notes of roasted almonds and frangipani so characteristic of our organic barley blend wonderfully with this famous taste of yellow. It is long and generous this finish. And full of surprises. A sensation of sweetness merges with the characteristic tingling of a sweet pepper well known from the South-West. Arbois-Espelette at the speed of a sip of Single Malt for a vintage of monstrous generosity.
