Through Epistémè B19F26, we invite you to explore the aromatic influence of an atypical maturation ("F: Finish") on the taste of two single malt expressions, both parcel-based and vintage.
The B19F26 exploration offers a taste of two whiskies whose barley ("B" = Barley), of the Amistar variety, was harvested in 2019 ("19", harvest year) from one and the same plot located in the Andrieu climat, which adjoins the distillery.
This barley harvest was reaped, malted, brewed, fermented, and distilled in the same week. After aging in Cognac casks, their paths diverge, opening new avenues for exploration through maturation in atypical vessels: one continues its aging in Amphora, the other in Macvin du Jura casks.
