Through Episteme B17P25, we invite you to explore the influence of plots and microclimatic effects on a 100% malted barley whisky.

The two expressions of B17P25 are almost identical: these two Single Malts come from two distinct batches of barley processed using identical production methods. Each of the two batches was malted, mashed, fermented, and distilled using similar recipes. Each of the two batches was harvested at maturity in July 2017, one from the Gabert plot and the other from the Vulson plot, and comes from the same barley variety, known as "Himalaya," a mountain fodder variety.
The two batches of spirits differ only in their micro-provenance: the plot where the barley was cultivated.
